A career orientation event for school students by a student of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University

? On May 9, a meeting “Honestly about studying and how not to burn out before admission” was held for students of Zaporizhzhia Specialized School No. 100. The event was hosted by a student of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Maria Vorozhko, who is studying in the specialty “Psychology”. The meeting was dedicated to supporting school graduates during the period of exams and the admission campaign.

Maria provided young people with practical tools for self-reflection and emotional relief. The main goal of the student’s thematic block was to teach future applicants simple methods of psychological self-help to maintain their emotional state.

? She also shared her own admission experience and past experiences, which contributed to a friendly atmosphere at the meeting. The high school students received answers to their questions, as well as useful advice on admission. During the meeting, the graduates’ anxiety level about admission decreased, replaced by motivation to confidently and boldly move towards their goals.

Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology Kateryna Pylypenko helped the student prepare for the event.
