Representatives of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University participated in the Professional Development Program for Academic Managers

The Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University team took an active part in the fourth module of the Academic Managers Professional Development Program. The stage was dedicated to the current issues of resource diversification and ensuring the financial sustainability of higher education institutions.

Within the module, the participants worked on key aspects of the topic:
— financial autonomy of universities
— development of project activities
— commercialization of scientific research results
— digitalization and its impact on modern financial models of higher education institutions

Special attention was paid to European experience: the best practices of leading European universities in the field of financial strategy and implementation of sustainable development models were considered.

The module program was extremely rich, as each session was accompanied by practical tasks, the completion of which allowed the participants to form a specific action plan and outline strategic approaches to ensuring sustainable development of the university.

The professional development program for academic managers is implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine within the framework of the project “Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results”, which is implemented with the support of the World Bank and the British Council.
