Representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic attended the events of the Erasmus+ KA2 ISDEGO project

From May 6 to 9, an organizational meeting and training seminar were held at Tor Vergata University (Italy) under the international educational project Erasmus+ KA2 ISDEGO “Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in Bachelor’s Programs in Transport” (https://www.isdego.eu/). Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University was represented at the event by the project coordinators from the university: Head of the Department of Transport Technologies Serhiy Turpak, Associate Professor of the same department Olena Ostroglyad, and Dean of the Faculty of Transport Oleksiy Kuzkin.

During the organizational meeting, the consortium partners discussed the progress of the project implementation, interim results, and further steps. Olena Ostroglyad presented a report from Zaporizhia Polytechnic University, who presented the status of the implementation of the tasks and prospects of the mobility package for teachers and students. The project is being implemented in cooperation with Transylvania University of Brasov.

The participants of the event in a mixed format listened to meaningful lectures by representatives of foreign educational institutions, which took place within the framework of the training seminar “Transport Technologies: European Experience”. During the allotted block, the attendees could ask questions to the speakers and discuss with colleagues on the topics of the reports. Following the seminar, all participants received certificates.

The event was attended by representatives of partner educational institutions: Maritime Academy of Szczecin (Poland), Tor Vergata University (Rome, Italy), Transylvania University of Brasov (Romania), University of Wismar (Germany), Technical University of Moldova (Chisinau), Balti State University (Moldova), National Transport University (Kyiv, Ukraine), Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O. M. Beketov (Ukraine), National University of Water Management and Environmental Management (Rivne, Ukraine) and National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”.

The implementation of the Erasmus+ KA2 ISDEGO educational project is designed for the period from 2025 to 2027. The project involves updating educational components in educational programs for bachelors in transport technologies and creating training laboratories for sustainable urban transport in partner educational institutions in Ukraine and Moldova.
