Representatives of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University took part in the EURASHE annual conference

A delegation from the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University visited the 34th General Assembly and the EURASHE Annual Conference, held in Portugal. The university was represented by Vice-Rector Valeriy Naumyk and Chairman of the Academic Council Volodymyr Bakhrushin.

On the eve of the planned events, the delegates visited the University of Lisbon, the largest institution of higher education in Portugal, where they met with Vice-Rector João Alfredo dos Reis Peixoto. During the conversation, they outlined areas of possible cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres. Professor João Peixoto confirmed the consistent support of Ukraine from the Government of Portugal and the university community.

During the conference, several meetings were also held with the heads of European universities regarding the establishment or deepening of partnership relations between institutions. Also, delegates from Zaporizhia Polytechnic University informed foreign colleagues about the situation in Zaporizhia and Ukraine due to the full-scale Russian invasion.
