At the panel discussions The practices of early recovery and sustainable development of territorial communities, as well as risk management of their resilience during war, were discussed. During the round table “Sustainable business – sustainable region: cases of the South East and the role of business communities”, the first vice-rector of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Serhiy Shylo presented our university case of resilience. The main thing is to interest young people. Do not create an artificial picture, but prove every day: our students chose us for a reason. Science, civic activism, opening new spaces, international activity, work on energy security — everyone will find a place to express themselves. The youth who stay in Zaporizhzhia are a vector of sustainability and development of the city and the region.
The round table was moderated by Andriy Karpenko, director of the Zaporizhzhia cluster “Engineering-Automation-Mechanical Engineering”, professor of the Department of Economics and Customs of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic. Andriy Kuts, vice president of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, associate professor of the Department of Management and Administration, also took part.

The main areas of sustainability were discussed: the human factor — competence, leadership, adaptability; innovation; issues of energy autonomy or continuity of operations; changes in the market, customers, logistics; partnerships, cooperation, networking, business communities.

Thank you for the meaningful discussions! Let’s work together – develop together!
