Victories of athletes of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic

The Ukrainian Rowing Championship among youth under 23 years of age was participated by Denis Belyaev (UFKS–115m) and Maksym Tishchenko (UFKS–415sp).
VM8+ (eight with a coxswain) — 1st place (Denis Belyaev and Maksym Tishchenko)
VM2- (two-swing without a coxswain) — 2nd place (Maxim Tishchenko)
VM4x (four-pair) — 1st place (Maxim Tishchenko)
Maxim Tishchenko managed to win three medals of different categories at once, and together with Denis Belyaev, climb to the highest step of the podium as part of the eight!

In the fight for medals of the Ukrainian Beach Volleyball Championship of the season 2024/2025 the strongest pairs of the country came together. In intense and bright matches, the European Champion, a student of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” (UFKS-124m), MSUMK Tetyana Lazarenko in a duet with her new young partner Sofia Kournikova won silver medals of the Championship of Ukraine!

The national team of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” took part in the 3×3 streetball tournament, which was organized by the Youth Organization of the Zaporizhstal Combine. The competitions were held on the sports grounds of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic dispensary base in Khortytsia. The tournament was attended by teams from industrial enterprises and educational institutions of Zaporizhia.
Our athletes showed true skill, will to win and in the final became the champions of the tournament! The representative of the team from the university was the associate professor of the Department of Physical Culture of Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports Yuriy Zhuravlev, who accompanied our students and supported them throughout the competition.
