Scientific and historical conference

On November 13, a Scientific and Historical Conference was held dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University and the 90th anniversary of the Zaporizhia Electrotechnical Vocational College. The conference brought together powerful centers of education and science of Zaporizhia, full of rich history, glorious traditions and a common goal – to educate the intellectual elite of Ukraine!

The organizers and coordinators of the event were the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training of the Faculty of Humanities and the Zaporizhia Electrotechnical Vocational College.
The moderator was Tetyana Bilenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training.

The participants were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Tetyana Khitrova, Director of the ZEFC, Ruslan Koshelyuk, and Head of the Department of Student Research, Snezhana Vychuzhanina.

The conference was attended by more than 150 participants — scientists, teachers and students of both institutions. The program featured thorough research devoted to the history of the formation of technical education in the Zaporizhia region, the figures of its creators and the achievements of academic departments.

Scientific and Practical Block:
– “Productive Scientific Activity of the School of Radio Engineering and Information Technologies” – Ilya Obolentsev (KNT-215)
– “Formation and Development of the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering” — Dmytro Cheremysov (KNT–125)
– “History and Achievements of the Department of Metalworking by Pressure” — Dmytro Ivanenko (M–815)
– “From the Faculty of Economics and Management to the Faculty of Business Technologies and Economics” — Bohdan Bondarchuk (BTU–0814).

Creative and poetic block
– “Spiritual symbol — “College Anthem”” — Oleksandr Goncharov (ZEFK)

The event was particularly warm and creatively motivated by:
– speeches by associate professors of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and ZMP Volodymyr Chop and Tetyana Katysh
– interactive game “Let’s write poetic reviews about native alma mater”, organized by Associate Professor Olga Chumachenko

The participants created poetic dedications full of love, gratitude and pride for their educational institutions.

The artistic performances became a real decoration of the event:
– the poetry “Happy Anniversary, College! Symphony of Gratitude and Love” — Anna and Kateryna Onishchuk (ZEFC)
– poetic composition “Our College — Through Time and Fate” — Alina Fedorak and Mykyta Zherebko (ZEFC).

The conference was held in a creative, inspired atmosphere of unity, love for native educational institutions, respect for their traditions and faith in the future of Ukrainian education. We sincerely thank all participants, teachers and students for their activity, creativity and love for science! Together we preserve traditions, multiply achievements and create history!
