Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University is a participant in the first module of the Professional Development Program for Academic Managers

The team of the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” joined the first module of the Professional Development Program for Academic Managers, which is implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the British Council within the framework of the project “Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results”, which is implemented with the support of the World Bank.

The first module was dedicated to the topic “The Role of the University in the Context of Social Transformations.” The key areas covered were:

• modern European and national trends in the development of higher education
• values ​​of social responsibility
• the concept of a public university
• partnership with employers and the development of dual education
• public service of the university
• models of interaction with the community
• best international practices (in particular, the case of the United Kingdom)

Participation in the Program allowed the university team to familiarize themselves with best practices, find new tools for effective interaction with the region and society, especially in the difficult conditions of today.
