International Volunteer Day at Zaporizhia Polytechnic University

On December 4, the International Volunteer Day was celebrated at the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University in the FREETIME youth hub.

Congratulated the active youth of Zaporizhia, who are constantly doing everything to bring the Ukrainian victory closer  V. O. Zaporizhzhia City Mayor Regina Kharchenko and Pro-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Socio-Economic Development and Youth Policy of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” Andriy Ivanchenko.

The participants were surprised and very pleased by the greetings from the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykola Trofymenko, who visited the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic as part of a working visit to the Zaporizhzhia region.

Our students were awarded certificates of honor by the Executive Committee of the Zaporizhzhia City Council for their active public position aimed at developing volunteer activities and helping the community and on the occasion of the celebration of International Volunteer Day:
– a second-year undergraduate student of the Faculty of Information Security and Electronic Communications of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”, Acting Head of Student Government and Trade Union of Students of the Faculty, Organizer of a Series of Charity Events at the University Vladyslav Patalakh
– First-year student of the separate structural unit “Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical Vocational College of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” majoring in “Electrical Machines, Electrical and Electrical Apparatus”, Active Participant in Volunteer and Charity Events and Campaigns of the City Danylo Siryk

And then — a festive quest, in which the combined team of young volunteers of the city won, for which they received valuable gifts from the organizers, informal communication, coffee and the best atmosphere!

Congratulations to the young volunteers of Zaporizhzhia! Thank you for your courage, responsibility, energy, sincerity and work!
