International Holocaust Remembrance Day
Every year on January 27, the world commemorates the victims of the Holocaust — one of the most terrible events in human history, which had tragic consequences for Ukraine. More than a million people were killed on Ukrainian soil, thousands of families and human destinies were destroyed.
The International Holocaust Remembrance Day was established at the initiative of the United Nations so that the world would never forget the atrocities committed by the Nazis and so that similar tragedies would never be repeated.
Today we bow our heads in mourning for the millions of innocent victims and emphasize the importance of unity in the fight against anti-Semitism, racism, intolerance and any manifestations of hatred. Let us remember the tragedy that changed the world and defend the ideals of humanism, democracy, freedom and peace.
Eternal memory to the innocently murdered – to all victims of the Holocaust.
