Interfaculty student round table "Current issues of linguistics and literary studies in the modern cultural space"
On November 26, an interfaculty student roundtable “Current Issues of Linguistics and Literary Studies in the Modern Cultural Space” was held, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.
The event was organized and coordinated by the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training of the Faculty of Humanities. The moderator was Associate Professor Tetyana Katysh.
Snizhana Vychuzhanina, Head of the Department of Student Research, addressed the participants with warm words of welcome, emphasizing the importance of student science and interfaculty cooperation.
The event brought together 80 students from various faculties: Humanities, Information Security and Electronic Communications, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Business Technologies and Economics, and Physical Culture and Sports Management.
The program presented 13 meaningful reports prepared by students: Maksym Lavrinenko (M-615), Yaroslav Kolesnikov (KNT–215), Hlib Parsadanyants (BK–715), Ksenia Perekhrest (FBTE–1615), Valeria Levenets (GF–215), Oleksandra Lomteva (BAD–535), Svitlana Balabanova (CH–115), Diana Korovytska (KNT–215), Yaroslav Zagachevskyi (M–815), Olga Danilova (GF–415), Veronika Komchenko (UFKS–215), Kateryna Khvostyk (FBTE–1015), Vladyslav Terletskyi (KNT–115). They prepared for the performances under the guidance of the department’s lecturers – associate professors Tetyana Bilenko, Kateryna Bondarchuk, Iryna Voronyuk, Tetyana Katysh and senior lecturer Lina Myronyuk. Associate Professor Olga Chumachenko and Senior Lecturer Halyna Syhyda also participated in the round table, joining the discussion and supporting the young researchers.
The student reports were vivid, profound, extremely relevant, and demonstrated a wide range of scientific interests of modern philology students and representatives of technical specialties. Each presentation was accompanied by a multimedia presentation, and the discussion after the reports was accompanied by lively discussions and interesting questions.
