Memorandum on cooperation with the Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports (Kazakhstan)

On October 1, representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, led by rector Viktor Greshta, held an online meeting with fellow educators from the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports (APEMS) (Astana, Kazakhstan). During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed.

The areas of activity of Zaporizhia Polytechnic were represented by Vice-Rector Ruslan Kulikovsky, Head of the Center for Internationalization and International Cooperation Alina Kazurova, Head of the Project Department Maria Pavlenko, and Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management Svitlana Kokareva.

From the APEMS side, the meeting was joined by Rector Tursynzada Kuangalieva, First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Educational Work Bolatbek Duketayev, Vice-Rector for Academic Activities Khanat Kasenov, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Oleksandr Neftysov, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations Asem Aitkalieva, and Head of the Center for Professional development and sports education Akzhan Yegenbayev.

The following areas of cooperation were discussed:
– academic mobility: teachers from the Polytechnic will soon hold the first guest lectures and master classes at APEMS
– development of interuniversity courses, online modules, educational programs
– organization of joint scientific conferences and seminars
– participation in joint research projects
