4th International Scientific and Practical Conference "World Achievements and Modern Trends in the Development of Tourism and the Hotel and Restaurant Industry"

4th International Scientific and Practical Conference

On November 11–12, the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business hosted the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “World Achievements and Modern Trends in the Development of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Industry”. It brought together scientists, students and specialists in the hotel and restaurant and tourism sectors from different parts of Ukraine and the world to discuss modern trends in the development of tourism and hotel and restaurant industry.

234 participants, including: doctors and candidates of sciences, teachers, postgraduate students, students; practices in the field of tourism, recreation and GIS.

The scientific discussion was attended by representatives of 17 countries: Austria, Argentina, Bulgaria, Israel, India, Italy, Canada, China, Nepal, Norway, UAE, South Africa, Poland, USA, Thailand, Turkey, France.

The Ukrainian academic community was represented by participants from 16 cities of Ukraine – from Lviv and Kyiv to Dnipro, Poltava, Uman, Kropyvnytskyi and Zaporizhia.

The conference was attended by 34 universities and 4 colleges, including leading higher education institutions of the country, international partners, research centers and specialized institutes.

The scientific discourse covered the most pressing issues of world tourism, innovations in GDS, sustainable development of the industry, digital technologies, service trends and exotic travel destinations.
