Internationalisation strategy

Internationalization is one of the key strategic priorities for the development of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic National University and is defined as Strategic Goal 4 in the University Development Strategy. It is aimed at strengthening the international dimension of educational and scientific activities, integrating the university into the European and world academic space, and increasing its international competitiveness.

Key strategic orientations of internationalization

The implementation of the internationalization strategy involves:

  • active participation of the university in the activities of international educational and scientific organizations and networks;
  • expansion of international educational and scientific cooperation, in particular through implementation of joint projects and programs;
  • development of academic mobility of students of higher education, scientific-pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical workers;
  • attracting foreign students, as well as creating a favorable multicultural educational environment;
  • involvement of foreign teachers and scientists in the educational process and scientific research under the conditions of short-term and long-term cooperation;
  • expanding the university’s participation in international educational and scientific programs, consortia and university associations.

Expected results

The implementation of the internationalization strategy will contribute to:

  • increasing the international reputation and recognition of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University;
  • formation of a modern multicultural academic environment attractive to foreign students and partners;
  • improving the quality of education and scientific research due to the implementation of the best global practices;
  • integration of the university into the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area;
  • development of personnel potential and improvement of teaching quality.
