Educational and Scientific Centre for Internationalisation and International Cooperation

The educational and scientific center of internationalization and international cooperation is a structural subdivision of the National University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic”, which ensures the systematic development of the university’s international activities.

The main goal of the Center is the formation and implementation of the internationalization policy, the coordination of international educational and scientific initiatives, the development of partnership cooperation with foreign institutions of higher education, scientific institutions and international organizations, as well as the promotion of the university’s integration into the European and world academic space.

Goals and tasks of the Center

The main goals and tasks of the Educational and Scientific Center of Internationalization and International Cooperation include:

• formation and implementation of the internationalization concept and strategy of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, as well as coordination of the educational and scientific international activities of the university;
• development of international cooperation with foreign institutions of higher education, scientific institutions and organizations, in particular by initiating and implementing joint educational and scientific programs, projects and events;
• promoting the participation of students, scientific-pedagogical, scientific, pedagogical and administrative workers in international programs, projects, grants, conferences, schools, trainings and other international initiatives;
• support and development of academic mobility for students of higher education and university employees, including informing about current opportunities for international mobility;
• the involvement of foreign teachers, scientists and students of higher education in the educational process and scientific research at the university, as well as the creation of favorable conditions for the study of foreign students;
• promotion of increasing the level of foreign language proficiency of university employees involved in international activities;
• providing information support for international activities, in particular by filling the official website of the university with current information about international opportunities;
• coordination of the activities of the Department of international activities and work with foreign students, which belongs to the sphere of management of the Center.
