II All-Ukrainian scientific and technical conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists with international participation "Youth in aviation: new solutions and promising technologies"

On November 27–28, the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology hosted the second scientific and technical conference dedicated to the future of aviation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The event was held in a mixed format and brought together representatives of 16 leading higher education institutions, 5 scientific institutes and 4 enterprises.

The conference was opened by the executive secretary of the conference, acting dean of the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design, associate professor of the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology, Olga Babenko. The participants were welcomed by the rector of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta, head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology Dmytro Pavlenko, deputy director of Ivchenko-Progress JSC for scientific work, head of the experimental and testing complex Yuriy Torba, and chief metallurgist of Motor Sich JSC Yevgeny Sotnikov.

Traditionally, the event’s partners are Ivchenko-Progress JSC and Motor Sich JSC, which always support innovative projects and promote the professional growth of young talents.

Young scientists gathered to present their ideas, impress with their creativity, and jointly form a new vision of the future of the industry. The conference was attended by scientists from leading scientific and educational institutions in Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic.

Five sections were working at the conference: Design and Strength, Production and Repair Technology, Aviation Production Materials, Avionics and Radio Systems, Production Support and Organization. Participation in the conference is an important step for students, postgraduates, and young scientists. This contributes to their scientific and educational development, and the expansion of knowledge. This is a great opportunity to share your research and ideas with the international community, as well as to test your PhD theses.

The Youth in Aviation Conference is a platform for exchanging ideas, experience and scientific achievements, for the birth of new solutions and promising technologies that will become the basis of the future of aviation.
