Recovery meetings on emotional stabilization "Point of peace" from the stakeholder of the Department of Psychology Kateryna Rakytyanska
In October, the Department of Psychology facilitated the holding of recovery meetings on emotional stabilization “Point of Calm”, which were attended by undergraduate and graduate students in the specialty “Psychology”. Our students were invited to these meetings by the department’s stakeholder Kateryna Rakytyanska, a psychologist, psychotherapist in Gestalt, CBT, EMDR approaches, art therapist, family and group therapist, and trainer.
The meetings took place offline on October 25 and November 1. The leading topic was internal recovery. The activities helped to increase the level of emotional stability, deepen contact with the body, and the ability to self-regulate.
During the classes, participants performed practical techniques that helped them focus on their own bodily and emotional sensations, reduce stress levels, and increase awareness of the present moment. The practices contributed to the restoration of an internal sense of security, helped to find their own resources and methods of self-support.
Kateryna Rakytyanska is pleased to invite students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University to join another recovery meeting on emotional stabilization “Point of Calm”!
Date: November 8
