Psychological recovery workshops from the Center for Assistance to Rescued Zaporizhzhia

The Center for Helping the Rescued in Zaporizhzhia, in cooperation with the Department of Psychology of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, is pleased to invite everyone to the psychological recovery workshops “A Journey That Changes and Heals…” in January.

At the workshops, participants will be able to reflect on themselves and the key meanings of their lives using art methods and metaphorical maps. This workshop involves a metaphorical journey that externally “takes place” in the winter Ukrainian Carpathians, and internally — through the landscape of one’s own soul.

The workshop leader is Tetyana Borodulkina, a psychologist at the Center for Helping the Rescued in Zaporizhia, an associate professor at the Department of Psychology of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.

The workshops will be held separately for adults and separately for high school students (15–17 years old) according to the following schedule:

The Center for Assistance to Rescued Persons in Zaporizhia was created at the initiative of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Affairs integration, assistance of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, in partnership with UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine, thanks to the financial support of the governments of Austria, Belgium, Spain, Sweden in cooperation with local authorities and the NGO “Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine”.
