Project "Academy of New Opportunities for Young Entrepreneurs"
We invite girls and women to participate in the large-scale educational and mentoring project “Academy of New Opportunities for Young Entrepreneurs”!
The program was created to support female entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 who are internally displaced persons or live in frontline regions.
What does the program entail?
– 10-day intensive in the format of lectures, practical classes and hackathon
– topics: business from scratch, strategic thinking, marketing and sales, financial planning, legal foundations, business management
– practical part: working in teams, creating business plans and final pitch
– mentoring support from entrepreneurs and experts
– information about available business financial support programs
– if all training modules are completed, each participant will receive a certificate
The training will be held in four cities of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia
When? November 10–21
Selection criteria:
– participant identifies as a woman
– from 18 to 35 years old
– IDPs and/or live in frontline regions: Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Kharkiv and relevant regions
– sincerely interested in entrepreneurship, ready to attend the full 10-day program, including a hackathon
Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience in entrepreneurship and/or have an existing or prepared business plan.
Participation in the activities of the project “Academy of New Opportunities for Young Women Entrepreneurs” is free.

The project is implemented by UN Women in Ukraine in cooperation with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with financial support from the Swedish government. In the Zaporizhia region, the project partners are the Zaporizhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Regional Innovation Hub of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.
