"Design Lab: Youth Guarantee — with youth for youth"

26 March 2026

On March 20, a large-scale event “Design Lab: Youth Guarantee — with youth for youth” was held in Kyiv, dedicated to developing practical solutions for the implementation of the Youth Guarantee initiative in Ukraine. It brought together over 200 participants from different regions of Ukraine, becoming a lively platform for exchanging experiences, ideas, and jointly finding effective solutions to support youth.

At the event, NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” was represented by Anastasia Steshenko, head of the student government, who joined the discussions and work on future changes for youth.

The program included a panel discussion with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and UNICEF. Participants discussed key challenges and opportunities for young people at the beginning of their professional journey — from their first job to access to quality education and support in building a career.

The practical part of the event was dedicated to working in groups, where participants jointly sought solutions for employment, education and professional development of NEET youth – young people who are not in education, employment or vocational training.

The key idea of the initiative is to ensure that every young person in Ukraine has a real opportunity to get a job, education, internship or vocational training. During the work, the participants modeled her path in the Youth Guarantee system, striving to make it accessible, understandable and effective.

This event became not just a platform for discussions, but a space where solutions are born and a common vision of the future is formed. After all, only together — through dialogue, partnership and mutual support — can we create an environment in which every young Ukrainian will have a chance to realize their potential.

This is exactly what NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” strives for — to be a part of changes and, together with young people, create opportunities for development, professional growth and a confident future!
