The second module of the Program of Professional Development of Academic Managers

The team of NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” took part in the second module of the Professional Development Program for Academic Managers, dedicated to the topic “Strategying in Uncertainty”.

The module program is aimed at developing strategic thinking and covered current topics: from the basics of strategy to cases from international practice. Participants had the opportunity to discuss trends in the development of higher education, science policies, the implementation of strategic decisions and the challenges facing institutions in a turbulent environment.

Special attention was paid to such aspects as openness of science, strategic communication, as well as practical experience in implementing strategies in Ukraine and the UK. The module ended with teamwork on improving the university’s development strategy.

“The Academic Managers Professional Development Program is a unique initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, implemented by the British Council within the framework of the joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the World Bank “Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results.”
