Day of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred
On February 20, we honor the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred — courageous Ukrainians who gave their lives for the dignity, freedom, and right of our people to live in an independent state. This is a day of pain and bright memory, a day of strength and indomitability of the Ukrainian spirit.
Their courage became a symbol of the Revolution of Dignity and a turning point in the modern history of Ukraine. They proved to the whole world: Ukrainians are a free nation capable of defending their values to the end.
Today, when our state is once again resisting Russian aggression, their feat takes on a special meaning. The ideals of freedom and dignity are defended every day by our soldiers, as well as by all who work for the victory and future of the country. The memory of the Heavenly Hundred gives us the strength to persevere and win.
We bow our heads to those who changed the course of Ukrainian history. We bow to the heroes of the past and the heroes of the present.
Let us be worthy of their feat. Let us protect Ukraine, strengthen its unity, and bring peace closer with our deeds and responsibility.
Eternal memory to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.
Eternal respect to their families.
