Arduino and FlyTech: first steps to big projects
From September to December, 8th grade students of the Zaporizhia Technical Lyceum attended classes at the Children’s and Youth Scientific University of the National University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic”. While studying in the “Robotics with Arduino” and “FlyTech” groups, they acquired practical programming skills and worked with Arduino, created robotic models, explored the principles of flight, and developed critical thinking and teamwork skills.
The ceremony was attended by Vice-Rector Ruslan Kulikovsky and Director of the DYUNU Olena Nazarova, who also presented the students with certificates of completion.
We would like to express our special gratitude to the creative and proactive group leaders: Sergey Deyev, senior lecturer at the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants, Svitlana Donets and Igor Poleshko, heads of the training laboratories of the Department of Electric Drive and automation of industrial installations, for the professional approach, interesting practical tasks and inspiration of students to create their own projects.
We also sincerely thank the director of the Zaporizhia Technical Lyceum, Igor Bagler, who became the initiator and organizer of cooperation between DYUNU and the lyceum, thanks to which the students had the opportunity to study in circles and immerse themselves in the world of modern engineering and technological solutions.
The students enjoyed participating in practical tasks, designing their own projects and seeing the results of their work in action. Many noted that the classes inspired them to continue developing their skills in robotics and future technologies.
Congratulations to all participants and we wish you new discoveries and interesting projects!
