Applicant of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University — 2026

On February 28, the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University hosted the grand opening of the new season of sports competitions “Applicant of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University — 2026”, which brought together active, energetic and motivated youth.

Pro-rector Ruslan Kulikovsky addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He wished the participants confidence, fair competition and sports excitement.

The following joined in the congratulations: Svitlana Kokareva — Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management; Alina Kubatko — Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports; Svitlana Sadikova — Acting Dean chairmen of the student trade union; Anastasia Steshenko – chairwoman of the university student government.

The first streetball, basketball, and checkers competitions began on the opening day. Participants from different schools of the city competed, supported each other and rejoiced in their joint victories.
