"Applicant-2026": table tennis and chess competitions

On March 21, the 4th round of the Complex Sports Event “Applicant–2026 of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”” was held in the sports complex of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”, which brought together about 50 applicants.

The participants demonstrated endurance, skill, strategic thinking and true sportsmanship in table tennis and chess competitions.

2nd place — Anastasia Tkachenko (ZPK “Fashion and Style”)
3rd place — Sofia Dovgal (ZPK “Fashion and Style”)

Boys:
1st place — Dmytro Lekomtsev (Khortytsky Academic Lyceum)
2nd place — Ivan Voloshyn (VSP “ZEFK”)
3rd place — Danylo Kuprienko (ZEPFK)

1st place — Vladislav Yaroshenko (KZ ZOL “Zakhysnyk”)
2nd place — Yuriy Korniyashyk (VSP “ZEFK”)
3rd place — Danylo Shuvchuk (ZEPFK)

The competition was held at a high organizational level thanks to the professional work of the judges.

Chess judges — senior lecturers of the Department of Physical Culture, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports Tetyana Napalkova and Serhiy Lutsenko.
Table tennis judges — associate professors of the Department of Physical Culture, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports Liya Galchenko and Olga Teryokhina.

The comprehensive sports event “Entrant 2026 of NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic”” once again proves that sport is an important space for uniting young people, developing leadership qualities and introducing future entrants to the possibilities of our university.
