"Entrant-2026": badminton competition

9 March 2026

On March 7, a badminton competition was held at the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University as part of the comprehensive sports event “Entrant-2026”. The tournament brought together active youth from secondary and vocational pre-higher education institutions in Zaporizhia and the region.

19 participants took part in the competition: 10 girls and 9 boys. Representatives of the following educational institutions participated: Economic and Legal Vocational College, Zaporizhia Professional College of Fashion and Style, Zaporizhia Regional Lyceum “Zakhysnyk”, Petropil Lyceum, Zaporizhia Educational Complex No. 67.

Winners among girls:
1st place — Polina Shumylo (Economic and Legal Vocational College)
2nd place — Anna Marchenko (Economic and Legal Vocational College)
3rd place — Polina Stogniy (Zaporizhzhya Professional College of Fashion and Style)

Winners among boys:
1st place — Maksym Gaiduk (Zaporizhzhya Educational Complex No. 67)
2 1st place — Denis Udodov (Economic and Legal Professional College)
3rd place — Ilya Kyrychenko (Economic and Legal Professional College)

The main badminton judge is Liya Galchenko, associate professor of the Department of Physical Culture, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.
