On April 5, chess competitions among boys and girls were held at the sports complex of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University as part of the comprehensive sports event “Applicant-2025”. More than 20 participants from various educational institutions of Zaporizhia took part in the competition.

The winners and prize-winners were:
Among girls:
1st place — Elizaveta Balabanova (Zaporizhzhya Higher Professional School of Fashion and Style)
2nd place — Elizaveta Dolya (Khortytsky Academic Lyceum)
3rd place — Karina Rubel (Zaporizhzhya Higher Professional School of Fashion and Style)

Among boys
1st place — Maksym Telipko (Zaporizhzhya Gymnasium No. 40)
2nd place — Yaroslav Rindenko (Zaporizhzhya Educational Complex No. 67)
3rd place — Vyacheslav Savochka (Zaporizhzhya educational complex No. 67)

The winners received medals, certificates of honor and memorable gifts from the student trade union committee of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”.
