On June 27, a meeting of the Academic Council of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University was held.

The following topics were put up for discussion:
election by competition to vacant positions of heads of departments
recognition of learning outcomes obtained during the forum “Days of Educational Leadership — 2025”
changes in the structure of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”
educational program “Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth “Children’s and Youth Scientific University” of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” for the 2025/2026 academic year
Regulations on the Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth “Children’s and Youth Scientific University” of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”
amendments to the educational programs and curricula of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and the University’s Higher Educational Service
formation of one-time specialized academic councils for consideration and defense dissertations
recommendations on the award of scholarships of all levels, including recommendations for the award of material support for gifted youth of the city of Zaporizhzhia to students of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”
recommendation for the publication of scientific and educational publications
results of scientific project activities for the first half of 2025
approval of the Regulations on the survey of participants in the educational process and interested persons on the quality of the educational process of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”

voting on candidates for state awards, recommendations for the publication of scientific manuals, collections and materials, approval of the composition of the counting commission, awarding the academic titles of associate professors, renaming the structural unit of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”, making changes to the educational programs of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and some structural divisions and awarding scholarships

During the meeting, a Certificate of Gratitude was presented to the Head of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training, Georgy Shapoval, and the Head of the Department of Metal-Cutting Machine Tools and Instruments, Mykhailo Frolov, was awarded the “Best Presentation Award” from the International Association for Technological Development and Innovations.
