On July 23, representatives of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University took part in the first presentation meeting within the Teaching and Administration Network for Double Degree Education and Mobility — Ukraine and Germany (TANDEM-UA-DE) project

This four-year project under the auspices of the DAAD creates a partnership network between the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden and six Ukrainian universities to develop a dual English-language program in digital technologies and management, academic mobility and training of new generation specialists.

Prof. Ulrich Muller, Vice-president OTH AW, delivered welcoming remarks; Rector of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta and representatives of partner universities: Lutsk National Technical University, Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Odessa State Agrarian University, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State University.

In his speech, the Rector of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta thanked the partners for their support within the framework of the previous DILLUGIS project, which allowed a significant number of students and teachers of the Polytechnic to join academic mobility and improve their qualifications. He emphasized that TANDEM-UA-DE opens a new stage of cooperation and will be a step towards creating an interdisciplinary program in digital technologies and management, which provides for double degrees for students from Ukraine and Germany.

A separate presentation of the project by Prof. Dr. Julia Heigl.

The participants also discussed the first steps of the project implementation: the formation of joint modules, training planning and training of teachers for the launch of the program in the near future.

We would like to thank the project coordinators — Professor of the Department of Economics and Customs Kateryna Antonyuk and Professor of the Department of Management and Administration Dmytro Antonyuk — for their active work, coordination of all stages and contribution to the development of the international partnership of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University within the framework of TANDEM-UA-DE and the previous DILLUGIS project.

Working together — developing together!
